Without proper hearing protection, visiting the range or going hunting can result in permanent hearing loss. Our custom earplugs for shooting, used by the Military and Police Forces, are designed to provide maximum comfort and effectiveness during shooting activities.

CENS ProFlex DX1 (£549)

The CENS DX1 is an electronic custom earplug featuring a single optimized shooting mode. Versatile for use with both rifles and shotguns, this mode enhances quieter sounds such as approaching birds and game, and cuts out quickly when under gunfire for maximum protection. It is available in the full range of colours and contains a contains a push button volume control, it is CE EN352 certified and comes with a 2-year warranty.

CENS ProFlex DX3 (£749)

The CENS DX3 comes with 3 digitally optimised setting settings plus a mute function for added convience.
Game mode: this mode is optimised for game shooters. Once a gunshot is fired the module reacts, reducing output levels to keep the user protected from harmful noise. Immediately after the sound level returns to normal allowing the user to hear quarry.
Clay mode: this mode is optimised for environments where guns are fired at a faster rate due to nearby shooters.
Tactical Mode: designed for fast action shooting after a gunshot. Output is reduced after gunshots, before returning to normal so shooters can communicate with their team.

Vocal feedback: The DX3 provides vocal notifications to inform you of the current mode and updates you as you switch between modes, ensuring you are always aware of your selected setting.

Volume & Mode save: The system retains your last set volume level and mode selection, even when the device is turned off or the battery is removed.

CENS ProFlex DX5 (£899)

The DX5 represents the ultimate in hearing protection for shooting, offering five digitally optimized modes: Game, Clay, Range, Wireless Comms, and Hunter, along with a dedicated mute function.
​
Game Mode: Optimized for game shooters, this program reduces output levels immediately following a gunshot to protect the shooter from harmful noise. Sound levels then quickly return to normal, allowing the user to hear approaching game. The program includes a single microphone wind noise reduction algorithm.
Clay Mode: Designed for clay shooters, this program accommodates the faster firing rate and proximity of other shooters, which exposes users to more prolonged loud noise. It also features a single microphone wind noise reduction algorithm.
Range Mode: Tailored for users at indoor ranges or those using large caliber weapons, this program maintains ambient awareness but reduces output levels, which may affect close conversation. Double protection is recommended in this environment.
Wireless Comms: Suitable for general shooting, this program offers ambient awareness with the added benefit of wireless audio input via the supplied neck loop.
Hunter Mode: Ideal for hunters and stalkers, this program reduces the amplification of quieter sounds to minimize the noise of footsteps on dry vegetation, preventing annoyance. It includes a single microphone wind noise reduction algorithm.
